So here we are; it's the 12th of January 2021. A lot has happened since I was sent to work from home (because of Covid-19) March 18th 2020; ten months (I've been home)! I thought when I came home this would be the perfect opportunity to clean up my habits and maybe even lose some weight. Not sure how I thought it would be so simple.
I don't know about you but I start this cycle and it always seems to caput. I'll start Weight Watchers or another online app thinking THIS is the time I'm gonna be the time I lose the rest of this baby weight (My baby is 7 in March!). I've done this off/on since I turned 40. I was older when I had him so the weight takes longer to come off.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. After I turned 35 I had my first flag come up with this but didn't get fully diagnosed till age 44/45. It's puzzling to me; no one else in my family has had it although my husband has it too.
Before Covid hit I was almost a single mom taking care of two young boys. My husband was always traveling and I was responsibility for taking care of everyone. I didn't handle this well and struggled a lot between working full-time and handling all. I turned to food and drink to cope.
So for now I'm trying to focus more day to day. I plan more now and try and not beat myself up if I do make an oops.
